Beef Tips and Rice

  • 1 lb. beef tips sliced into 1/4 in. cubes
  • 1/4 C. green bell pepper chopped
  • 1/4 C. red bell pepper chopped
  • 1/2 C. white onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. Cavenders greek seasoning
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 tbls. vegetable oil
  • 2 tbls. flour
  • 2 C. chicken broth


  • Season cubed meat with seasonings and salt and pepper until evenly coated. Over medium heat, brown beef tips in vegetable oil. Add vegetables and simmer for 45 minutes. Cook rice as desired to go with meat and gravy. When rice is ready, sprinkle flour and stir into mix to thicken liquid to a gravy.
