Cajun Boudin Bisquick Balls
Ingredients
- 10 oz. sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 3 C. Bisquick
- 1 white onion finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 3 fresh jalapenos finely chopped
- 1 T. red pepper flakes
- 1/4 C. chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1.5-2 lbs. Boudin sausage
Instructions
- Remove the casings from the Boudin and cook in a skillet over medium heat. Break the sausage and rice mix apart so the sausage and rice mix cooks evenly. Combine all the other ingredients together in a large bowl. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Form into 1 inch diameter balls. Put foil over a cookie sheet. Place about 12 balls on a the foil and cook for approximately 28-35 minutes or until the top of the balls begins to brown.
