Cajun Boudin Bisquick Balls

  • 10 oz. sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3 C. Bisquick
  • 1 white onion finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 3 fresh jalapenos finely chopped
  • 1 T. red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 C. chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1.5-2 lbs. Boudin sausage


  • Remove the casings from the Boudin and cook in a skillet over medium heat. Break the sausage and rice mix apart so the sausage and rice mix cooks evenly.┬áCombine all the other ingredients together in a large bowl. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Form into 1 inch diameter balls. Put foil over a cookie sheet. Place about 12 balls on a the foil and cook for approximately 28-35 minutes or until the top of the balls┬ábegins to brown.
