Sour Cream Sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbls. olive oil
  • 1 tbls. lemon juice
  • 2 C chicken broth
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp parsley
  • 2 tbls. flour
  • * add 1 cup Monterey jack cheese for extra flavor


  • Over medium heat sauté garlic in olive oil, about 1-2 minutes. Add lemon juice, chicken broth, sour cream, salt, pepper, parsley and stir together. When sour cream melts. When sauce begins to simmer, sift in flour to thicken, and continue whisking, until sauce appears creamy.
