Italian Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 lb. hot Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 lb. Velveeta cubed
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1/4 C. olive oil
- 10 oz. penne pasta or macaroni
Instructions
- Combine sauce, tomatoes, olive oil and spices. Let simmer for 20-30 min. Cook sausage and pasta while sauce simmers. Reduce heat to low. Add sausage, pasta and cheese. Stir frequently until cheese melts and pasta is coated.
